2026 Outdoor Season

Practices will be held at multiple MCPS Outdoor Track Locations.

Practice Schedule

  • Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Tuesday (Field Events): 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Various Saturdays: 12 PM – 2:00 PM

IMPORTANT:

Athletes should have a water bottle filled with water. - Athletes should be fully hydrated before coming to practice.  Please remind your child to drink water throughout the week and especially before practice.

Athletes should wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes.

Please make sure that your athlete eats something light 90 minutes before practice.  Athletes should not consume very large meals within 90 minutes of practice and their stomachs should not be completely empty.

There will be designated areas of the facility for parents to wait for their children.  Only registered athletes, coaches, and approved team parents are allowed on the track.
