2008 TRACK SEASON

| WHO: |
Boys and Girls, Ages 6-18 as of December 31, 2008 (18 years olds not turning 19 before August 1, 2008 are eligible)

| WHEN: |
First Practice will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, @ 6:00 p.m. at Gaithersburg High School
Practices are held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

| FEE: |
$175.00 per participant (includes cost for a uniform) : $125.00 for each additional sibling in the same household. Please see our Treasurer or Financial Secretary for family situations involving financial hardships. High School athletes who join in May will pay a registration fee of $80. Fees contribute to: uniforms, equipment, meet fees, association dues, insurance, travel and lodging. All payments should be made payable to Firebirds Athletic Club. Deadline for registration and fees is April 24, 2008. Copy of proof of age and a copy of your most recent report card must accompany registration. High School athletes must register and pay the registration fee by June 5, 2008. NO REFUNDS! |

| MEMBERSHIP |
The Firebirds Athletic Club is a member of the PVAC (Potomac Valley Athletic Council) and all athletes will be registered with USATF. Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in Track & Field events on a local, state, regional and national level.

| HEALTH ADVISORY |
Parents please have your child examined by a physician before he/she participates. Each child will be expected to engage in strenuous athletic workout. Please see Head Coach Adrian McDaniel or Trainer Michelle Dennis to discuss any pre-existing medical conditions your child may have. |
