Since it’s inception in 1981, the Firebirds organization has influenced the lives of many young people by assisting in the physical, mental, moral, social and emotional development that would prepare them for the future. The following is a list of athletes who participated in 3 or more seasons with the Firebirds. We believe the speed development through our program had a significant impact on them receiving athletic scholarships.

There are many others that received college scholarships who had less than 3 years with the Firebirds. There are also a large number of other very talented former Firebirds who have set school records, became state contenders, and took their high schools to county and regional championships. Gaithersburg, Seneca Valley, Watkins Mill, Magruder, Churchill, Wooten, Richard Montgomery, Damascus, Poolesville, Kennedy, Clarksburg and Quince Orchard High Schools have all benefited at one time or another from athletes who have come through the Firebirds program. Currently, the track teams at Gaithersburg High, Watkins Mill High, Clarksburg High, Kennedy and Quince Orchard High are experiencing some “positive boosts” from Firebirds athletes.
